There are three types of services that may be employed for - Consulting, Customization, Support. The length of time to implement an ERP system depends largely the extent of customization, the scope of the change. ERP systems are modular, so they don't all need be implemented at once. It can be divided into various stages, or phase-ins. The typical project is about 6 months and requires a team of programmers, database designers and implement or/consultants from our side. The length of the implementations is closely tied to the amount of customization desired.
We have different types of processes but they are all of a standard, modular nature. This analysis should map out all present operational processes, enabling selection of standard modules that are most closely aligned with your organization.
Configuring an ERP system would largely relate to policies or model of a company as how they work. While configuring various tables in the backend, we will take care of ground realties such as whether to employ revenue model by geographical unit, product range, or direct sale or distribution sale. We can adapt to your choice as per the case. However the most commonly used concept is FIFO.
